A Bit About Me...
I have a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science from Indiana Wesleyan University and I am currently licensed by the State of Indiana to teach in these content areas: Business Education, FACS (Occupational Family & Consumer Sciences) and Special Education.
My husband, Mark, and I have a cat named Rue and 3 dogs - Pepper, Zoe, and Abel. These guys keep us crazy busy!
I LOVE to travel and have been to lots of interesting places such as Hawaii, Niagara Falls, the Grand Canyon, San Francisco, Alcatraz Island, Washington D.C., Maine, Walt Disney World, Arizona,
Mexico, Bahamas, and Nova Scotia.
I believe that teaching is more than just transmitting knowledge, it is about inspiring students to discover their purpose and potential. As a teacher, I have the opportunity to impact the lives of students, and I take that role seriously. I realize that each student enters my classroom with a unique and valuable set of life experiences and knowledge; subsequently, my goal is to help students better understand their lives and the larger world in which they live.
